As a Coach How to Keep Your Team Playing

 

There is one thing that a coach cannot deal with but happens all the time in sports are injuries. They force the other teammates to step it up and play harder. They force everyone to chip in more of their time in playing. However there are ways that coaches can limit the amount of injuries that occurs on his team. By limiting the injuries, the coach can limit his problems and have a well-balanced team. These tips and techniques can work if applied:

 

1        Strike angle: This is where an injury can occur from any angle. A player can be coming down from jumping and land awkwardly on his foot, twisting it in the process. Or he could be running down the field and, as he tries to jump over an opponent, another player runs into him as he is in the air.

2        Avoid the injury: The best way the coach can keep his players from getting injuries is by keeping them healthy. The best way to do this is make sure the players are fully conditioned. This means rigorous training during pre-season time.

3        Idle time: It would also be good if you as the coach would learn to limit each players playing time on the floor. The more time he is playing, the more tired he gets, and when he gets too tired, he can’t function too well. This can make him prone to injuries.

 

It is better to plan ahead and prevent a problem from occurring by taking steps ahead of time to have properly trained athletes in your mist.
